Description

SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer to support the STARS team located in Huntsville, Alabama/Redstone Arsenal. Program Information: The STARS Planner Team deliver software-based solutions for Models and Simulation to the Missile Defense Agency. Responsibilities Include: Development of software for radar systems Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software Ensures software standards are met Participate in internal and external software team meetings and interfaces with the customer Required Education and Experience: BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience Required Skills: Demonstrated modern C++ and/or Java experience in a team environment Solid object-oriented programming experience Experience in Linux-targeted development Experience contributing to CI/CD workflows (GitLab, etc.) Container Application Development experience Required Clearance: Must have an active Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will develop software for radar systems and ensure software standards are met. They will also participate in team meetings and interface with the customer.
