[What the role is] The role supports industry and applied R&D projects through design, development, and delivery, while supervising students in their final year projects [What you will be working on] Undertake industry and R&D project design and development. Work with project manager/lead to fulfil the required project deliverables. Supervise students in their final year projects. Maintain a strong interest in software development and applied research. High-performing candidates may be considered for potential future conversion to a Lecturer role based on suitability and prevailing institutional requirements. [What we are looking for] Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related disciplines. At least 1 year of relevant working experience in software and system development. Ability to use AI-assisted tools to enhance coding efficiency and quality. Practical knowledge of Cloud Computing for project deployment. Experience in Agile Software Development Methodology.
