Job Description We’re on the lookout for dynamic, open-minded & innovative software engineers who want to be part of our team of creative and talented individuals at R&D, Manufacturing group. The vision of Manufacturing group is to produce state-of-the-art ERP solution for manufacturing companies around the world, that enables digital transformation and intelligent automation to deliver real value to its users. We provide embedded end-to-end processes in IFS Cloud, enabling cutting edge user experience on one single platform. As a Software Engineer you will have the responsibility to design, develop and maintain software included in IFS Cloud. The work is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Business value, usability, maintainability, security and performance are key aspects of this work. The work will involve activities like: Contribute to the full R&D lifecycle of our products including technical design, development, testing, bug fixing, documentation and 3rd line support. Produce clear high-level design documentation for new features or enhancements and accurate development estimates. Write robust high-quality documented code adhering to appropriate coding practices. Participate in peer design and code reviews. Technically test, debug, review and maintain software to ensure quality and stability of the code. Collaborate with & proactively share knowledge, guide and train colleagues. Contribute to improvements in IFS products, services and processes by actively engaging with colleagues, requirement owners & other stakeholders. Qualifications Knowledge in planning and scheduling, preferably with experience in Manufacturing industry. A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology Previous working experience with developing enterprise-grade software and/or domain knowledge of Manufacturing processes is a definite advantage Knowledge in database concepts and techniques Knowledge in quality assurance, software security and performance Effective communication and presentation skills Ability to work in distributed global team set up Additional Information Interviews and selections are being made continuously.
