Description

We are looking for a senior software engineer with a track record of delivering distributed cloud services and passion for solving hard problems. Build, evolve and co-own a hyper-scale distributed service. * Participate in all stages of service lifecycle. Dive deep into global-scale service issues and drive improvements to resiliency, latency, and product reliability. Champion improvements in the quality and stability of service fundamentals and promote engineering best practices. Demonstrate strong customer empathy, curiosity and willingness to question and learn, and participation in live site on-call rotation. Required: Professional software engineering experience, using one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript. Ability to work as part of geo-distributed group. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Math or relevant engineering field Nice-To-Have (Not Required). Experience in running a highly distributed, critical services. This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. *
