This position is based in Plano, TX. Who We’re Looking For The TFS Banking and Commercial Lending team is seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to join to support Internal Applications. What You’ll Be Doing As a Software Engineer supporting internal platforms, you will: Design and develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Python to support internal engineering workflows. Build intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces using modern UI/UX frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) tailored for Engineering, Quality, and Product teams. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into efficient, user-friendly applications. Implement robust APIs and microservices for seamless integration across internal tools and systems. Leverage cloud-native technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications with high availability and performance. Apply modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and agile methodologies. Continuously explore and adopt emerging technologies, including LLMs and AI-assisted development tools, to enhance productivity and innovation. What You Bring Must-Have Skills Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other related/equivalent experience. Strong programming experience in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python. Proficiency in front-end development using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of software design principles, agile development, and DevOps practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Passion for and ability to build tools that improve developer productivity and internal user experience.
