The position is 100% remote and can be performed entirely location-independently in Germany.

What you achieve

• You maintain and further develop the existing SaaS application using C#, Visual Basic .NET and ASP.NET Web Forms.
• You develop and optimize database-driven functions using SQL and T-SQL.
• You analyze complex technical requirements and implement them independently.
• Support development and deployment processes with GitHub
• Ensure code quality through pull requests, code reviews, and automated tests.
• You further develop the test strategy and expand the test automation.
• Supports the team through knowledge transfer, collaborative solution development, and the teaching of best development and testing practices.

What you bring

• Several years of professional experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of C# and Visual Basic .NET
• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms, SQL and T SQL
• Experience in the maintenance and further development of historically grown applications
• Experience with the operation and further development of SaaS applications
• Safe handling of GitHub, pull requests and code reviews
• Experience with automated tests as well as unit, integration and regression tests
• Independent and analytical work style, as well as enjoyment in imparting knowledge and providing professional support to colleagues.
• You communicate complex technical and quality-related content confidently in German and English.

A plus, but not a must.

• Knowledge of deployment processes with Octopus Deploy
