REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:

  • utilizing software quality assurance using tools including TOSCA and RestAssured; working with SAFe Agile methodology using JIRA, Confluence, and Rally;
  • working with Webservices and utilizing POSTMAN for backend and API testing;
  • utilizing SQL Server or Postgres and Cassandra and Snowflake database technologies;
  • performing test automation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and five (5) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policy. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer Specialist - Quality Assurance Specialist Function will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation. Additionally, the role will:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure their resolution.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and best practices.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing.
