Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to join a fast-moving engineering team working on a meaningful mission. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, where product direction may start fuzzy and evolve quickly. You’ll be a core contributor to the codebase while also mentoring junior engineers, setting technical direction, and helping turn abstract ideas into robust, scalable features.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in accelerating the growth and effectiveness of the team, especially as new engineers onboard and begin contributing at full capacity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code daily across key areas of the application.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers through pairing, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Translate ambiguous product ideas into clear technical plans and solutions.
  • Partner closely with product and design teams to ensure feasibility and clarity in feature development.
  • Help define engineering best practices and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
  • Drive onboarding improvements that enhance the team’s ramp-up speed and cohesion.
