About the Role The Software Engineer Technical Lead role involves managing a team of IT professionals ensuring diverse top talent are retained. The role also involves overseeing the design, development and maintenance of different IT solutions ensuring security, reliability and scalability of solutions. The role requires engagement and partnership with different stakeholders and vendors. Leading the technical delivery team/s enabling Marketing Retail capabilities in our Downstream business Ensuring the technical delivery team/s execute scalable, reliable, and compliant technical solutions that fulfill the needs of the business case. Broad technical IT Experience related to solution performance, reliability, cybersecurity, IT Compliance, outsourcing, modernization and agile delivery methodologies. Offer hands-on technical direction, ensuring solution is scalable, maintainable, and integrates with cutting-edge technologies. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications or specialized training in relevant areas will be advantageous. At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead or similar role. A proven track record of leading teams towards valuable outcomes. Development experience (e.g. .Net C#, Python, Node.JS, Angular), implementation and hands-on experience on different IT applications/systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Workday). Proficiency with SQL databases, familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, and Windows server environments. Proficiency in Cloud computing (e.g. Azure), Scripting (e.g. Ansible, BASH, PowerShell) and data analytics will be an added advantage.
