Additional experience with PMAC systems, communication protocols, and test automation using Python or other scripting languages is a plus. The ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and good communication skills in both Dutch and English are also beneficial.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at Rigeo, you are responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions that drive innovation within our products. Your key responsibilities include:
· End-to-end product development – Engage in the creation and maintenance of innovative software products from inception to deployment.
· Autonomous ownership – Take responsibility for your code while working within architectural guidelines, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
· Collaboration with hardware engineers – Define and integrate system requirements to achieve seamless hardware-software interaction.
· Field testing – Work closely with installers and customers to validate product performance in real-world conditions.
· Firmware optimization – Enhance software efficiency and reliability to improve overall system performance.
· Troubleshooting and problem-solving – Identify and resolve technical issues in both development and production phases.
· Documentation – Maintain clear and structured documentation of firmware designs and implementations.
· Interdisciplinary teamwork – Cooperate with mechanical engineers to ensure smooth integration of all system components.
· Continuous learning – Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in embedded software and electrical engineering, applying new insights to improve our solutions.
