Description

Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.
But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We’re a diverse group of innovative thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers who believe in delivering an incredible product—and having fun while doing it.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us scale our CamOps team, the group behind the tools and infrastructure powering firmware development for our embedded Linux-based camera. In this role, you’ll empower firmware developers, support our in-house production facility with tooling and troubleshooting, and work across a wide range of platforms and programming languages.

Responsibilities
  • Build and support our Rust-based in-house production line software, used for flashing, calibration, and end-of-line testing.
  • Develop test automation for our embedded Linux camera products using our Python-based test suite, designing creative approaches to measure power usage, GPU utilization, battery life, and more.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for firmware and internal tooling, optimizing development and release pipelines, and scaling our setup to enable mobile, video, and AI teams to run integration tests across our software ecosystem.
  • Maintain and support our Nix environments for both development and deployment.
  • Provide insights into our production line and fleet of cameras by creating dashboards, integrating with data warehouses, analyzing camera logs, and tracking production metrics.
