Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. Clearance Active Top Secret Clearance (existing clearance required to start) Location Washington, DC Overview Perform configuration, development, support, and maintenance of SNOW instances Design, develop, and build custom applications Write production backend applications Ship and run services in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems Identifies and implements best-practice solutions to address client requirements Performs operational support of custom development and 3rd party integrations Performs unit-testing and resolves code defects Assists with technical design and documentation Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions that support business requirements Qualifications 4+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript) Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter Strong documentation and verbal communication skills to collaborate with and convey focused messages to stakeholders, customers, domain experts, program managers, and teammates encompassing architecture, high-level, and detailed system designs Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level IT systems Experience deploying cloud-based enterprise-level applications such as in AWS and Azure Experience with Linux and deployed Linux-based systems Experience with system upgrades, patching, and regular IT system maintenance Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure; ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment Benefits 100% paid Medical, Dental & Vision for Our Employee 6% 401K match (Vested Immediately) 29 Days' PTO Flexible Work Schedule Tuition/Certification Reimbursement Growth Opportunities w/in an Emerging Defense Company *All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
