As our new Software Engineer in the Data Science team, you will join a collaborative and technically curious group that supports machine learning modelling across the full value chain, from data engineering to MLOps. Your tasks and responsibilities: Productionize ML Models: Support the deployment and operation of ML models in production, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability. DevOps & Infrastructure: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure to support the full model lifecycle. Containers & Microservices: Develop and manage containerized environments and microservices architectures using tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Full-Stack Development: Contribute across the stack, from backend services to UI components, ensuring seamless integration and usability. Tooling & Standards: Explore and implement modern development standards and tooling beyond Python, helping the team stay ahead of the curve. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, product owners, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with user needs and business goals. Someone who is excited to build robust software that supports intelligent decision-making. As our Software Engineer you will bring: Proven experience in Python development, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.). Interest or experience in UI development and creating user-friendly interfaces. A passion for exploring modern development practices and tools within the context of Data Science. Curiosity about the user experience and how technical solutions can better serve real-world needs. An academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
