Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications * Ability to develop back-end systems in support of product development. * Strong knowledge of the Java language. * Knowledge of and the ability to develop REST APIs in Java using Spring Boot. * Knowledge of and the ability to use database systems and SQL programming. * Knowledge and understanding of software engineering principles such as SOLID. * Knowledge and understanding of event-based architectures using Kafka. * Knowledge and understanding of secure coding practices such as the OWASP Top 10. * Knowledge and understanding of DevOps integration and deployment practices and tools including Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes. * Knowledge and understanding of generative AI tools for enhancing productivity. Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
