The Software Engineer for Visualization is in charge of the design, implementation and support of
the GUI and the remote accessibility of APATEQ products and installations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

Academic background University degree in either Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation or
any IT discipline.
Professional experience 3 to 5 years of experience in GUI programming ideally for automated
installations, water treatment or industrial systems with remote
access.
IT skills Expert knowledge in InTouch, WinCC and VPNs.
Language skills Fluent in English; German or French would be an asset.
Soft skills Autonomous self-starter with a strong sense of planning and
organization,
Business centric approach to R&D and keen for innovation,
Hands-on attitude, conceptual and out-of-the box thinking,
Good team player, problem solver and attention to detail,
Well structured and organized, proactive and resourceful,
Well spoken, good listener with strong communication skills.

Structuring and designing the MMI architecture, from square one to a full user-friendly layout,
Developing and programming the GUI of control panels in accordance to the chosen MMI
architecture, the process P&ID and customer requirements,
Developing and programming the installations’ VPN for remote accessibility,
Collaborating with the Process and the Electrical Engineers in house and on the field to offer
the best customer experience.
