About this Role We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Software & Product Infrastructure team in Bucharest. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting complex software solutions that include databases, business logic, user interfaces, and system integrations. You will collaborate with an international team to deliver enterprise-grade solutions for global customers, ensuring high-quality code, documentation, and support. What you will do Develop well-structured, maintainable code in line with company standards Document system changes and enhancements clearly Coordinate code development and delivery across the full product lifecycle Provide accurate time and effort estimates for new features Conduct impact analysis on related systems Support applications at the third level Contribute to project team setup and development Work effectively in a distributed, multi-project environment Who you are Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming Proficient in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Gemstash, JavaScript, SCSS, Apache, and web technologies Skilled in Docker, docker-compose, and containerisation technologies Experienced with Bash scripting and Linux system administration Strong understanding of relational database design and optimisation Familiar with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, or SVN Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and network design Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Holds a university degree (preferred) Proficient in English (B2 or above); additional languages are a plus Not a Perfect Fit?
