🔎 What we look for?We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Java and Spring Boot who enjoys building scalable, cloud-native applications while working in a collaborative Agile and DevOps environment to join one of our strategic international projects within the banking sector.

We cover relocation expenses. Is required to go to the client's offices in central Madrid 3 days a week.

High english level is required.

• ⚙ Key Responsibilities:Collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams following a DevOps-centric delivery model.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, release, and monitor business-critical applications.
• Participate actively in code reviews and champion software quality best practices.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver valuable solutions.
• Partner with Solution Architects to design scalable and maintainable software aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented solutions.
• Implement automated testing strategies using TDD and BDD practices.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery initiatives.

• 💡 Mandatory requirements:Strong experience in Java development and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with Oracle SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application deployment and management, preferably in Azure environments.
• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and automated testing.
• Proven experience working with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience participating in Agile software development teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• C1 english level
