Description
The successful candidate will be a member of our Production Support team. They will play a major role in ensuing the successful running of our DMS processes, both on prem and in AWS to ensure we meet our SLA’s and customer commitments. Responcibilities: Lead and guide Production Support team resources with day to day support operations to include monitoring jobs processing on DataStage and in AWS DMS Framework Manage ServiceNow Queues INCidents and CATalog tickets to help prioritize and coordinate team efforts thus ensuring SLAs met Monitor all alerts and report any issues that may significantly impact the business SLAs Assist team in the analysis and triage of job failures and ServiceNow items Liasson between production support, delivery team and business partners Ensure effective and timely communication amongst teams and business partners Provide daily status, metrics and issue resolutions to onshore Production Support Lead Review and ensure concurrency of all production support documents (PSDs) Identify opportunities for improvement, automation and standard operating procedures to drive efficiencies Capture on Confluence useful how to’s and tips Act as a back up to onshore Production Support Lead and serve a primary point of contact for any managed incidents or escalations Support code releases, assigned Change Tasks and scheduled maintenance events Skills: Extensive knowledge of batch job processing and scheduling tools Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Usage of excel to create spreadsheets to track work items and status Experience with database management solutions and able to query and analyze data stored within Ensuring timely delivery of required ETL tasks Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently to manage and prioritize day to day tasks Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including technical writing Processes / Tools : Hands on experience with scheduling tools such as ESP, CRON or CA7 Usage of SQL tools such as TOAD, Teradata Studio and SQL Analyzer Able to use WinScp as well as PUTTY to run simple Linux commands Knowledge of ETL processing and DataStage tools Conceptual understanding of AWS Exposure to Github or tool used for code repository Understand how ot use Splunk and Dynatrace Basic skills in Kafka and MQ About Evernorth Health Services Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
