Job Description
We are currently expanding our team and looking for a Scrum Master to work closely with our Packaging and Deployment team. In this role you will be part of the team responsible for creating and bundling the software packages that will be deployed by the Canadian Army.
As Scrum Master, your primary goal will be to remove barriers and impediments that prevent the team from achieving its commitments, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.

What you will be bringing to our team:

  • Facilitate the removal of impediments to ensure team progress and commitments are met.
  • Working closely with Product Owners, other Scrum Masters, Architects and our Customer.
  • Collaborate with external vendor technical staff, provide status updates, and manage escalations.
  • Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed.
  • Configuration management and project management activities.
  • Guide the team in producing achievable plans during program increment planning.
  • Foster Agile and Scrum principles on the team and program.

Qualifications

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 + years experience working on software integration projects.
  • 2 + more years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience motivating and guiding remote/hybrid teams
