ABOUT US

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re driven by progress and thrive on the challenge of relentless improvement. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations and more people.
At Dyson we do things differently. We look for the brightest new interns with the right attitude to thrive in our unique culture. We offer real jobs with real salaries and real prospects. You will have the autonomy and freedom to excel and have real impact on our business. We aim to inspire you to become our future leaders. This is why we need creative thinkers, people who are motivated and drive themselves forward.

Responsibilities:

From a project and people perspective, we continue to scale our software development toolchain as we expand and grow.
As a Software DevOps intern, you’ll join a dynamic team that’s passionate about building and automating the tools and processes that power our software development lifecycle. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced professionals who will guide you every step of the way and gain exposure to the entire software development lifecycle, from coding to deployment. You will also learn the fundamentals of DevOps principles and methodologies and assist with automating tasks using scripting languages like Python or Bash. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines (continuous integration/continuous delivery) and gain practical skills in software development and working with essential DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Docker, and Kubernetes (exposure may vary based on project needs). As part of this role you will learn Agile project management methodologies and troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues alongside the team as well as documenting processes and learnings to contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
If you are passionate about software development practices which can help to build the best products and relish the challenge of using those techniques in a complex environment where mechanics, software, electronics, and machine learning meet, then we’d like to hear from you.
