POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Software Engineering Director to lead the design, development, and scaling of our cloud-native SaaS product suite. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for managing engineering teams, defining software architecture, ensuring code quality, and driving the evolution of our platform in a high-growth environment.
This role requires deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud-native application architecture, and modern software engineering practices. You will collaborate closely with product management, data science, DevOps, and customer teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (required)
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in an engineering leadership role
• Proven experience building and scaling cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Strong full-stack technical background with expertise in modern front-end and back-end technologies
• Experience leading agile development teams and delivering production-grade software at scale
• Deep understanding of API architecture, security, microservices, and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems end-to-end
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Passion for technology and making a societal impact through smart infrastructure solutions

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers responsible for full-stack development of Aquasight’s SaaS solutions
• Architect, design, and guide the implementation of scalable, multi-tenant cloud applications (AWS environment)
• Own the technical vision for the Analytics and AI platform and ensure alignment with business goals and product roadmap
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices for:
• Code architecture and quality
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• API development and integration
• Security, scalability, and performance
• Drive a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability within the engineering team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data science, DevOps, onboarding) to define requirements and deliver features
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies where appropriate to enhance platform capabilities
• Maintain a deep understanding of the entire data-to-insight value chain, from data ingestion to analytics and visualization
• Ensure high reliability, maintainability, and uptime for all deployed services
• Participate in architectural reviews, sprint planning, and code reviews as a hands-on technical leader
