Description
In this role, you will work on automated debugging technologies, build languages and frameworks, implement microservices, AI agents, and copilots, and collaborate with different groups within Azure to create world-class infrastructures for live-site automation and tooling. Our team is at the cutting edge of service reliability engineering and the work we do will set the standard for the rest of Azure and the open-source community. Creates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable. Applies coding patterns and best practices to write code. Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on call to monitor and mitigate system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions. Builds knowledge, shares new ideas, and shares pinpoints of engineering tool gaps to improve software developer tools to support other programs, tools, and applications to create, debug, and maintain code for complex product features. Uses open source when possible. Embody our culture and values Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 1+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining cloud services. 2+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining cloud services. Understanding of Observability and MELT implementation patterns for large-scale services. Experience with the Jupyter ecosystem. Industry/academic experience in prototyping and building AI agents and copilots.
