About the Role
12 week program starting 1st July through 30th September 2025.
As a QA Intern, you’ll work on CCleaner, a desktop product that is part of our Utilities product suite, which includes: Avast Cleanup, AVG TuneUp, Driver Updater and Norton Utilities Ultimate.
Working from our Prague office, you’ll join as a peer within our Product Delivery team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with and work alongside our Product Manager, Developers, Designers and QA team to contribute to delivering a successful and quality product.

What you will do in this role:

  • Perform manual user-based testing
  • Participate in regression testing of CCleaner
  • Identify and raise any defects or bugs found during testing
  • Assist with verifying test results from our automated suite of visual tests
  • Contribute to the maintaining and building of our Test Case Templates
  • Contribute to the maintaining and building of our knowledge base
  • Work with the development teams to implement and test changes to products

  • Dissecting software applications to understand them at a granular level and to see what makes them tick
  • Driven to finding the root cause on problems
  • Contributor to ideas and solutions

  • Great at communicating with colleagues on technical and complex matters
  • Willing to take on responsibility and has the conviction to see tasks through to the end, either as part of a team or individually
  • English B2 level
  • A proactive individual who has a genuine interest in technology
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 OS

  • Foundational/Intermediate technical knowledge of Windows 10/11 OS
  • Some experience in creating full test plans for software or websites
  • An understanding of the SDLC
  • Experienced in testing across all major operating systems, browsers and older versions
  • Understanding of testing methodologies, techniques and frameworks
