Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties : Design and implement services and workflows to manage the life cycle of SDB salesforce distributed cloud database. Design services and workflow to deploy/upgrade/downgrade/destroy SDB clusters using custom blue-green and rolling deployment for mission-critical salesforce infrastructure used by thousands of customers. Work on initiatives to re-design SDB deployment pipelines to move to Argo workflows which are custom provided by salesforce infrastructure. Work on project initiative to detect, analyze, and remediate deployment pipeline failures using FAWKEs run-books and Warden AI ops platforms. Design/Code/Implements features for services that maintain the cluster, cluster leadership election, distributed multi-availability zone cluster, and self-remediating flows to recover the cluster from problems. Provide operational support by debugging/analyzing propriety systems for production incidents for salesforce customers. Architect/Design/Review software services/system/Planning/Meeting. Support salesforce customers by troubleshooting/providing solutions to continue their business which depends on SDB. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).
Special Skill Requirements : (1) Implementing microservices; (2) Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm; (3) cloud infrastructure AWS/GCP; (4) SQL (Postgres/Mysql) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra) databases; (5) java, (6) golang, (7) python. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary : $206,315.00 - $276,100.00 per annum.
