As an experienced Software Project Manager, you will take responsibility for external client projects in the software sector – from initiation and planning to implementation and successful launch. You will clarify goals, scope, budget, deadlines, priorities, risks, and next steps, ensuring that complex projects progress in a structured, binding, and solution-oriented manner.

You are the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders during the project phase. You coordinate the implementation closely with the Product Owners, who act as the central interface to the development teams. You maintain an overview of costs, deadlines, and scope of work at all times, identify deviations early on, and address these transparently and with a focus on finding solutions with the customer.

• Independently plan, manage, and successfully implement challenging software projects with clients.
• act as the central point of contact for customers, stakeholders, product owners and internal departments
• Actively manage project goals, scope, budget, deadlines, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
• Structured recording, evaluation, and integration of change requests, further developments, and new requirements into project and budget planning.
• to ensure clear decisions, binding next steps and a smooth handover to ongoing service

You are familiar with, among other things:

• Project management in the software environment
• Stakeholder, prioritization and risk management
• Scope, budget, schedule and expectations management
• Requirements engineering, solution design and change management at the control and coordination level
• Technical fundamentals of software development and collaboration with product owners and specialist departments

You bring the following:

• Solid experience in managing software projects with external clients
• the ability to confidently structure complex project contexts and manage multiple topics in parallel.
• a high degree of commitment, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
• a good sense of priorities, risks, quality, customer needs and realistic planning
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills; knowledge of French and/or Italian is a plus.
