Job Summary: We are seeking a technically experienced Software Engineering Manager to build and lead an innovative team of software engineers to develop cutting-edge industrial software solutions. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and proven ability to innovate across one or more fields: data analysis, visualization, generative AI, and direct hardware interfaces. You will drive the design and implementation of the software systems that power our applications and enable our customers to reach the intelligent insights needed for their success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Build and manage an innovate team of software engineers. * Strategy for AI enablement, Infrastructure, and System Level design. * Prioritize and triage product and system issues. * Work closely with HW engineers to define and implement SW programs (written in C++) to test the HW. * Work with senior engineers to refine and monitor team progress through the software development process. Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with at least five years of software work experience * Experience in low level microprocessor control and hardware interfaces is a plus. * Experience in Object Oriented / C++ programming is a plus. * Effective English verbal and written communications skills * Fast Learner, willing to travel 2 to 4 times a year internationally (US/Taiwan) To apply, please send resumes to ryan.hu@cohu.com [ryan.hu@cohu.com] or twhr@cohu.com.
