MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript).
  • 3 years of technical leadership and people management experience.
  • Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, and data analytics/AI solutions applied to real industry problems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • Experience with full-stack development.
  • Experience with data visualization.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Plx leadership team and Product Managers and be responsible for setting out the mid-term strategic goal for both Plx Workbooks and Dashboards, shaping the future of analysis at Google. Demonstrate expertise at one major data analysis domain at least.
  • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to engineers, with an eye towards building flexible, extensible systems that are meant for teams or partners to build within.
  • Work across Plx and with partner teams (e.g., PeopleOps) to map business needs to roadmap items or existing features.
  • Have an excellent full-stack foundation to facilitate work with the middle and backend tiers.
