Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Oversee the full development process, from initial design through deployment and maintenance • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI/ ML powered software solutions that can handle increasing load and complexity • Promote coding standards, CI/CD workflows, and other software development best practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable code • Work closely with product managers, data scientists/AI Eng., and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, set priorities, and align on deliverables • Define and maintain the engineering roadmap, balancing new feature development with technical debt and platform improvements • Establish and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation while driving best practices in engineering QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • 7-10 years of experience in software development and engineering complex applications • Experience developing and deploying AI/ ML powered solutions • Strong proficiency in Python and at least one other language (e.g., Golang, Rust, Java, etc.) and related frameworks • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) • Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design • Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD, microservices) • Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouses, and related tools (Spark, Airflow, etc.) • Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field About Us: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is the largest bank in the UAE and one of the world's largest and safest financial institutions.
