We are seeking a results-driven Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented team responsible for the end-to-end software experiences of an advanced camera product line. This role oversees the application and integration layers across device, cloud, and mobile platforms, driving both technical strategy and execution. You will mentor engineers, foster a culture of growth, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions that enhance user experience. Accountabilities: Lead and mentor a team of 4–8 software engineers, supporting professional growth and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Define technical strategy and ensure alignment with overall organizational goals, translating product priorities into actionable engineering efforts. Oversee the development of end-to-end software experiences, including edge AI-enabled devices, cloud services, and mobile applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Operations to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions. Facilitate Agile practices, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and promoting iterative, data-driven development. Review and assess code quality, system architecture, and process efficiency to optimize team output and product performance. Partner with leadership to define roadmap priorities, evaluate technical risks, and implement scalable, maintainable solutions. Proven experience in software engineering leadership, with a track record of managing teams delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. Strong background in cloud technologies and building end-to-end software systems. Excellent strategic thinking, with the ability to define technical direction and guide teams toward successful outcomes. Hands-on mentoring skills, supporting the growth and development of individual engineers. Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with C#, React, React Native, Rust, Python, MongoDB, and AWS is a plus. Demonstrated experience in product partnership and roadmap planning is desirable. Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote environment within specified U.S. states. Competitive base salary: $124,000 – $179,000 USD, aligned with experience and internal equity practices.
