MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in Android development.2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision, or team leadership role.
• Experience building large-scale, consumer facing, mobile applications.Experience with applied ML in areas such as natural language processing, computer goal, or recommendation systems.

• Work with cross-functional PM / UX peers and TLs on the team to roadmap, plan and deliver features.
• Balance building new features with proactively identifying areas for improvement while advocating for quality and reliability.
• Develop and drive the engineering roadmap and execution plan for new initiatives and long-term projects while providing technical leadership to the team.
• Align strategy, processes, and decision-making within and across teams.
• Advocate for the team and take responsibility for helping individuals grow and succeed.
