MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects.
• 3 years of experience building tools that improve monitoring, development velocity, code quality, or code health.
• 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a changing organization.

• Lead key efforts for reliability, scalability, engineering productivity, production best practices, and automation.
• Manage a team of seven software engineers and lead the team through delivery of key tools and best practices.
• Drive the charter and roadmap for the team while working with other engineering teams on priorities and requirements.
• Lead regions and environments work for Google Security Operations.
• Drive best practices for Engineering teams across Google Security Operations and Google Threat Intelligence products.
