REQUIREMENTS

  • Drive the technical roadmap for the team in close collaboration with the PM and the product roadmap.
  • Manage and improve systems to maintain high service availability for our customers.
  • Enable your team first; deliver your own projects second.
  • Act as the glue for execution (e.g., organizing sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) in a way that fosters effective collaboration with the rest of the company.
  • Support and mentor the engineers on your team (around 5) to grow their careers.
  • Maintain a healthy team culture characterized by trust and psychological safety.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting to grow your team over the next few years.
  • Coordinate resolution of production incidents.

As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure the proposed plan abides by the timeline, team capacity, budget, and scope. This role involves both technical expertise, project management, and people management skills.
