OSCAR Pro, a leading Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform in Canada, is part of the WELL Health Technologies family. Initially developed by McMaster University’s Department of Family Medicine, OSCAR Pro was built on a foundation of collaboration to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. • The technical expertise. You have experience across the entire stack, using Angular, React, Java or Kotlin, JUnit, Spring, Hibernate, Node.js, Git, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines. You have worked on data retrieval, storage, and performance optimization in SQL. You are a champion of automated testing to enhance QA quality and coverage. You have experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud technologies. You have proven experience designing scalable, modular architectures and API development. Familiarity with FHIR and healthcare data exchange standards preferred.
• The AI experience. You have tried at least one AI-powered tool, such as Windsurf, Aider, Cursor, CodeRabbit, or other productivity-enhancing assistants to streamline development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve code quality, code reviews and testing. You stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and have tried to integrate them into your daily work to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
• The leadership. You advocate for your team members and are dedicated to developing future leaders by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
