YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years as a people leader leading technical projects.
  • Strong technical background in Salesforce (Lightning Web Components, Objects, Apex, Flows, Business Processes, Data Loader, Inbound/Outbound integration etc.), GitHub Actions, JIRA, Confluence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor software development teams in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud platform and services.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Software Engineering Manager in the Loyalty space, you will lead Salesforce development team in designing, developing and implementing Loyalty Solutions on the Salesforce platform ensuring high quality development, adhering to best practices, and aligning with business goals. The overall objective is to develop world class earn/redeem experiences to increase advocacy and engagement of our customers. You’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and clearly communicating project details to all stakeholders. Your role involves encouraging innovation within your team, allowing them to explore new ideas and technologies. You will work closely with the product team to craft the Salesforce roadmap.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Leads, guides and directs a large group of technical employees responsible for engineering deliverables in support of the organization’s business objectives.
  • Be an effective people manager with hands on technical background, bringing out the best performance from the team.
  • Create a team environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
  • Define and lead the software strategy for Salesforce technologies, highly complex features, and drive the next generation Loyalty Platform.
  • Lead Software Development using Agile techniques including running daily standups, sprint/release planning, retrospectives etc.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, program managers, SRE and other teams to align technological development with business goals and user needs.
  • Capable of hosting technical discussions, being a subject matter expert, and having strategic influence.
  • Own and drive complex technical projects from the planning stage through execution.
  • Identifies & leads staffing initiatives for work team.
  • Understands & supports employee’s career development goals.
