Schema App is looking for an Engineering Manager. The purpose of this role is to lead the engineering team to ensure efficient, predictable delivery of high-quality software, while maintaining technical excellence, supporting team growth, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Technical Support and Mentorship: Provide hands-on technical support to guide and mentor the team through implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices and timely delivery of solutions.
• Project Delivery: Own the successful and timely delivery of engineering projects in alignment with the plan of record. Ensure the team meets its commitments by balancing capacity, priorities, and timelines, while delivering high-quality solutions that support business and product objectives.
• Scrum Ceremonies: Lead key Scrum ceremonies, including Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives, to ensure smooth and organized sprint cycles. Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-groomed backlog and ensure alignment on sprint goals.
• Engineering Direction: Maximize team velocity by creating a supportive environment that encourages continuous improvement. Lead recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team and manage team growth, ensuring the development of team members’ technical and leadership skills.
