Description:

Join us as a Software Engineering Operations Assistant, where you’ll be a huge player in growing our startup team at TrueTraining.ca / TalosTech.ca, as we’re advancing Canada in the right direction by influencing the government by providing them with quality services. From integrating AI tools to automating processes, your job is to support—and most importantly, innovate. You’ll dive into our Microsoft ecosystem, optimize workflows, and make sure every system hums smoothly. If you love solving problems, simplifying the complex, and making things better than you found them, we want you.
Responsibilities:

SOFTWARE INNOVATION BY INCORPORATING AI/LLM

  • AI Research & Integration: Explore and implement AI/LLM (Large Language Model) solutions to enhance existing workflows and processes.
  • Automation Through AI: Develop AI-powered tools or integrations to automate repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency.
  • Custom AI Applications: Collaborate with the leadership team to design and deploy AI applications tailored to organizational needs.
  • AI Education: Provide team members with insights and training on leveraging AI/LLM technologies effectively.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Teams, Power Automate, Graph API, and Azure/Entra.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and their practical applications in software workflows.
  • Experience in process improvement or workflow optimization in a technical environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) are a plus.

This isn’t your average role. You’ll get your hands dirty building automations, working with AI, and experimenting with cutting-edge tools. If you’re tired of playing it safe and want a role where you can challenge yourself, make an actual impact with a scaleable startup, and prove how resourceful you are, this is it. We’re not looking for someone to just follow instructions—we need someone who thinks two steps ahead and gets stuff done.
