THE POSITION

We are seeking an energetic, hands‑on SVP of Software Product Engineering to lead and transform our engineering organizations focused on Sports products. This is a pivotal role, charged with modernizing software delivery through AI-assisted development and cutting-edge architecture.
You will initially focus on driving transformational uplift through GenAI tools and AI-assisted workflows across engineering teams. Ultimately, you will oversee end-to-end AWS architecture, scale, reliability, and efficiency across our consumer‑facing sports platform. You’ll create strategies and drive execution within a global organization of ~500+ engineers and engineering managers delivering high‑impact products at velocity.
Strategically you will work alongside the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to own and drive organizational outcomes including location, financial, and key technology strategies to align with overall key results and goals against our future strategic plans.
This role will partner across the business units to drive software engineering and product end-to-end delivery efficiencies and acceleration by bringing experience and best in class industry process and frameworks to reshape how development is done. Candidate best suited for this role will be product-centric with high technical skills including strong communication skills (business, financial, and customer focused) at multiple levels including executive team and the board.
In addition, the position will act a senior leader and partner to the international brands of Flutter Group to help identify key technical partnerships and opportunities to create leverage across the brands.
