MEET THE TEAM

This is an opportunity to work with outstanding software engineers to develop and support a leading security product. The successful candidate will join our team delivering Cisco’s Endpoint Security services, where we work closely with several other groups in a fast-paced, collaborative setting to deliver innovative features that protect our customers from ever-evolving threats.
We are a small team within a larger whole, all working towards the shared goal of making our product outstanding. As a member of the Windows Kernel Team, you will take part in crafting and developing security-oriented kernel capabilities, laying out the next-gen core for a sophisticated security product.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years in a technical software engineering role or environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Kernel development or low level programming.
  • 3+ years experience of relevant system level programming experience.
  • Experience working with Windows OS internals.
  • Experience with standard debugging and analysis tools, such as: WinDbg, SysInternals, IDA, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams across different time zones, and is a self-driven individual with a passion for learning and understanding diverse technologies.
  • Understanding of existing AVs/EDR internals, endpoint security, secure coding & architecture, and reverse engineering of x86/x64.
  • Familiarity with Agile development concepts and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with telemetry and profiling tools for Windows.
  • Experience with Rust.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technology field or equivalent experience.
