POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Software Integration & Systems Engineer to join Mycronic’s Global Technologies division working within Surfx Technologies, our Applied Plasma business line. It is an exciting time to join our team!
Surfx Technologies is a fast-growing company that offers atmospheric argon plasmas for the high-volume manufacturing of integrated circuits, semiconductor packages, printed circuit boards, and other microelectronic devices. These automated plasma machines are an excellent choice for surface cleaning, activation, and metal oxide removal. The Surfx Technologies team delivers this atmospheric argon plasma technology for assembled products that are less likely to corrode, delaminate, or come unglued during their lifetime. Our customers include the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers and technology companies.
Our industry leading tools deliver fast, effective, damage-free and particle-free surface modification, employing our proprietary atmospheric pressure, argon plasma technology. Collaborating within the team, this role requires deep knowledge of mechatronics to design and develop innovative new products. The Semiconductor Equipment Engineer works closely with sales engineers, service engineers, process engineers and management to help Surfx gain a significant share of the semiconductor equipment industry.
The Software Integration & Systems Engineer is a key technical role at Surfx Technologies. You’ll lead the deployment and integration of our Atomflo plasma platform into high-precision manufacturing environments, ensuring seamless operation and robust performance. This role demands a deep understanding of software-controlled hardware systems and close collaboration with both internal software teams and external customers. You’ll be instrumental in aligning system behavior with customer requirements and manufacturing standards, while continuously refining deployment processes and enhancing system interoperability. Success in this role requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex software systems into practical, customer-ready solutions that perform reliably in demanding production settings.
