Position Description
In the position of a Software Product Owner in Life Science and Diagnostics at QIAGEN, you will be making improvements in life possible - every working day. We are looking for you to help us shape our product development with skill and passion. As a Software Product Owner you will work with our system and software teams to develop instrument control software for laboratory devices as well as data analysis software to process test results helping our customers to get valuable insights from a biological sample.
Gather, assess and prioritize stakeholder requirements. Document software requirements and establish the solution architecture together with the software development teams.
Ensure the conversion of high-level stakeholder requirements into executable user stories.
Collaborate across teams to generate the best possible solution in a complex environment of Biology, Chemistry, Mechanics, Electronics and Software.
Ensure regulatory compliance, so that patients all over the world benefit from our products
Position Requirements
University degree in computer science, science or engineering
Proven practical experience as accountable product owner, requirements engineer or solution architect (3 years minimum)
Solid know-how and hands-on experience in object oriented analysis and design, UML, BPMN and agile development processes
Enjoying to work in international teams, using your fluent English skills (C1 level), travelling occasionally (up to 10%) to connect with our teams. Good German knowledge is beneficial
Experience in medical devices development (CE IVD and FDA) or in other regulated environments of advantage
