Job Title: Software Production Manager
Report To: CEO
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Software Production
Manager to oversee the planning, task assignment, and execution of our
software development projects. This role requires strong leadership skills
to coordinate between programmers and QA teams while ensuring that
milestones and shipping deadlines are met efficiently. Additionally, the
Software Production Manager will be responsible for carrying out the design
vision and technical direction to ensure the successful implementation of
features.
Key Responsibilities
* Task Management & Follow-Up
* Assign development and QA tasks to team members based on project
priorities.
* Track progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
* Identify and address roadblocks that impact productivity.
* Scheduling & Planning
* Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule using [Company’s
scheduling tool].
* Monitor project timelines, adjust task priorities, and ensure
alignment with milestones.
* Proactively communicate delays or risks to stakeholders and adjust
plans accordingly.
* Team Coordination & Communication
* Act as a bridge between programmers and QA teams to ensure seamless
collaboration.
* Facilitate regular check-ins and status meetings to keep projects on
track.
* Ensure QA processes are integrated effectively within the
development lifecycle.
* Milestone & Deadline Management
* Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
* Work closely with senior management to align development progress
with business objectives.
* Provide reports and updates on production status, risks, and
required adjustments.
* Technical Direction & Design Vision
* Collaborate with technical leads and designers to define and execute
the design vision for new features.
* Ensure the implementation of features aligns with technical best
practices and architectural guidelines.
* Address technical challenges and ensure feasibility of designs
within project constraints.
* Maintain a balance between innovation, quality, and project
deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in software project management or production
management.
* Strong understanding of software development, technical design, and
QA processes.
* Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Jira,
Microsoft Project, P6).
* Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to
challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
* Background in software engineering, architecture, or quality
assurance.
* Familiarity with software release cycles and deployment processes.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
