Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The iWork team is looking for a software QA engineer to work on the next generation of Desktop, Mobile and Web application/services. This position requires an ambitious individual with strong problem solving skills who can adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment. DESCRIPTION In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, writing, maintaining and executing test cases. With your technical expertise and experience, you will drive all aspects of quality and process improvements. Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in new technologies as well as new testing techniques is what will set you apart. You will be working closely with other team members to help coordinate multi-functional test efforts. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Strong hands-on experience with QA methodologies. Bug detection, isolation, and regression skills. Translate software feature descriptions into effective test plans. Able to write clear and concise bug reports with all the relevant information. Proficient at ad-hoc testing without documentation/guidance. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skill (oral and written). Creative problem solving skills with a passion about quality. At least 5 years experience in QA/QE. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent of 5 plus years relevant experience required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1+ years experience automating in Swift and/or Python. 2+ years experience with automation in general. In-depth experience in work situations with Spreadsheets, Word Processors or Presentation software. Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering.
