Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review requirements and user stories, and write test plans, test scenarios and test cases, including edge cases
• Run functional, regression, integration and smoke testing for web and mobile applications
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
• Test REST APIs with Postman or REST Assured, and validate back-end data with SQL queries
• Log defects in Jira with clear steps to reproduce, track them to closure and retest fixes
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
• Support performance testing with JMeter or k6 when required
• Work with developers and product owners in an Agile/Scrum team, and report test status and release readiness

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on software testing experience, including at least 1 year in test automation
• Working knowledge of one programming language: Java, Python or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress (Appium for mobile is an advantage)
• Experience with API testing, SQL and Git
• Good understanding of the software development and testing lifecycles, and of Agile/Scrum
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and clear written and spoken English
• ISTQB certification is an advantage
