PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end testing, API testing (Postman, REST, GraphQL), and process validation.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools for API and front-end profiling.
  • Understanding of security testing principles, including API vulnerability testing.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers and DevOps.
  • Prior experience in mobile app testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a QA / Tester to establish and maintain manual and automated testing strategies for our applications, ensuring high-quality front-end, API, and business logic performance. This role will work closely with developers and DevOps to improve test coverage and integrate automation into our self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience implementing testing frameworks, performing performance/load testing, and contributing to security testing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for front-end, API, and business logic validation.
  • Identify and document front-end UI issues, API inconsistencies, and internal process-related bugs.
  • Work with GitLab CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development workflow.
  • Implement and maintain test automation tools, with flexibility in choosing the best fit (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman for API testing).
  • Contribute to performance testing (load testing APIs, front-end profiling) and security testing (penetration testing, API vulnerability scans).
  • Ensure yearly security review compliance by assisting with penetration testing preparation.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
  • Document test cases, report bugs, and train developers on writing testable code.
  • Support mobile app QA as the project expands.
