QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Windows SQL Server and associated management tools. Able to create basic queries to analyze data discrepancies.
  • Tech-savvy with excellent knowledge of Microsoft-based computer systems.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including in-person interactions.
  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex problems quickly and providing appropriate resolutions.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex systems and processes quickly.
  • Ability to quickly research and discover new solutions for problems.
  • Work well within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and innovative problem solver.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft-based virtual machines and remote desktop environments.
  • Experience with IIS and web application deployment.
  • Experience with IT services, including Windows PCs and printers.
  • Experience with automated and manual software testing.
  • 1+ year of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to speak/write in a second language (French/ Spanish) a bonus.
  • Knowledge of continuous process manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Support the fulfillment of service agreements by providing first and second-tier support for customers.
  • Determine root causes by troubleshooting and resolving reported issues.
  • Resolve system problems by issuing corrective instructions or through coordination with account managers to propose needed improvements to the system.
  • Enhance system performance by analyzing and understanding customer processes, as well as how company-provided solutions integrate with existing customer systems.
  • Improve product quality by working closely with our software engineering team in testing pre-release software to prepare for installation.
  • Support installation processes by working closely with Account Managers to stage and deploy software solutions.
  • Increase customer efficiency by providing remote training and support.
  • Improve system reference by contributing to internal and external documentation of programs and solutions.
  • Support implementation processes by participating in the installation of systems at customer sites, training end users, and providing on-site support for the system.
  • Contribute to the success of the helpdesk and organization by performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned, within the capabilities expected for this position, based on the required skills and experience.
