Veterans, you are encouraged to apply if you meet the requirements of this role!   **This is a hybrid position. All employees must reside in N.C. ** Responsibilities:  * Review of the documented functional requirements of gaming-related software to be tested for acceptance; composing clear, concise, and effective test cases to be used in the execution of software testing based on the defined requirements * Participating in the formal review of internally documented test plans, providing input * Executing testing in relation to the documented approved test plan, performing functional, ad-hoc, integration, usability, and regression testing as defined and needed against all affected lottery applications on all supported lottery-specific hardware devices * Collaboration daily with vendor personnel in the performance of the necessary tasks or processes that need to be performed during software testing cycles * Updating existing repetitive test cases due to system and software changes, utilizing the test case management tools and applications in place Requirements:  * Advanced study or training past the high school equivalency at a community college, vocational, business, technical, or correspondence school, and 3 years’ experience * Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats * Ability to effectively read and interpret technical documentation and specifications * Firm knowledge of the software development life cycle * Knowledge of the major methodologies of software testing * Experience with testing web-based and non-web-based software * Ability to work independently or in a group setting as dictated; able to multitask * Strong attention to detail * Strong analytic thinking skills Hiring Rate: $62,226 (this exempt position will be filled at or near the posted salary) Closing Date: July 20, 2026 We raise money for a great cause!
