Role Overview: The Senior Test Engineer responsible for defining, implementing, and governing the quality assurance activities across the Digital Transformation Project. The role will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality digital solutions through effective test planning, automation, performance testing, and defect management while collaborating closely with the business, development, integration, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities:

 Test Management: end-to-end testing activities, including Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UAT Support, and Go-Live validation.

 Automation: Drive test automation initiatives and improve test coverage using industrystandard automation frameworks and tools.

 Quality Assurance: Establish quality metrics, monitor testing progress, manage defect lifecycle, and ensure compliance with project quality standards.  Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Development Leads, Technical Architects, and Project Management to ensure timely and quality delivery.

 Release Management: Coordinate testing activities for multiple releases and ensure production readiness before deployment.

 Risk Management: Identify quality risks, provide mitigation plans, and proactively resolve project testing challenges.

 Continuous Improvement: Introduce best practices, optimize testing processes, and enhance QA maturity across the program. Technical Skills:

 Testing Expertise: Extensive experience in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing, and API Testing.

 Test Management Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, Test Plans, and defect management tools.

 Automation: Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent automation frameworks.

 API Testing: Experience using Postman, Swagger, REST APIs, and integration testing methodologies.

 Performance Testing: Knowledge of JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar performance testing tools.

 CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines, Git, CI/CD processes, and Agile DevOps practices.

 Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and enterprise software delivery methodologies. Experience Requirements

 Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

 Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance in large-scale digital transformation programs.

Domain Experience: Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation projects, preferably within Government or Public Sector environments.

Language: Arabic-speaking, with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will assist in testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring products meet quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback
• Design, write, and execute test cases (manual and/or automated) based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla)
• Perform various types of testing: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers to understand product requirements
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure no new issues are introduced
• Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test scripts, and test data
• Document test results and prepare clear, concise test reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software QA/testing
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC (Software/Testing Life Cycle)
• Hands-on Experience on Mobile App Testing (Android/IOS)
• Hands-on Experience on Web Application Testing
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.
• Basic Knowledge of Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Testing
• Basic exposure to AI-powered testing tools like Testim, Applitools, or mabl for visual/UI regression testing
• Basic understanding of bug life cycle and defect management
• Experience with at least one bug-tracking/test management tool (Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• ISTBQ Certification – Foundation Level (CTFL)
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend/data validation
• Understanding of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
• Exposure to version control systems (Git)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
• Basic understanding of performance testing concepts

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
