Responsibilities: As our Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

• Be responsible for end-to-end test and release of new features / products with the best quality.
• Work closely with frontend and backend developers and management to understand the features and their implementation.
• Create comprehensive test cases for SPEEDCARGO products by understanding the features in-depth from the end user point of view.
• Write and execute test cases for all requirements.
• Report bugs and defects with details and follow-up on them in collaboration with developers to closure.
• Understand automation framework and add automation test cases for the new features as well as regression test cases.
• Monitor production system reliability and proactively contribute to incident investigations.
• Continuously improve Product Development practices by introducing quality checkpoints at every stage of the SDLC.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 to 5 years’ of software QA and testing experience.
• Hands-on experience in testing web applications and APIs.
• Ability to go through requirement documents and derive test cases for new features as well as impacted features.
• Ability to understand the product at the implementation level, and be able to analyse logs and API responses at the microservice integration level.
• Exposure to agile methodology and short release cycle working models.
• Coding and hands-on experience with automation (web, mobile app, and API automation).
• Basic knowledge of source control methodologies, such as Git.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, UI Automation Tools (Selenium, etc), Testing Frameworks (Mocha).
• Familiarity in any OOPS language (Go, TypeScript, Python, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate
