The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for defining and promoting a quality mindset and strategy across the organization. This position helps to inform a strategic vision, works to promote quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives. It develops, implements, and improves upon quality standards, tools, and methods to assure quality across new and existing products and services. The position requires strong communication skills and will include work across multiple teams. This is a supervisory position, which is responsible for managing the quality assurance team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of quality assurance practices and processes ideally within a large scale environment and have worked on a variety of projects implementing across the complete SDLC
· Demonstrated experience with increasingly complex projects. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Passion for improving testing practices through metrics and producing high-quality software
· Experience producing detailed test plans, test cases and driving product through a full release cycle
· Experience with tools used for data validation and comparison
· Managing various projects, work, technical support, etc.
· Excellent management and organizational skills
· Excellent team building skills and team management skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and experience with software testing modalities
Experience or knowledge within the healthcare industry specifically Pharmacy advantageous
· Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology and managing QA Automation projects preferred
· Computer science, IT or Business education preferred
