Description Position Overview: The Software Development Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software and applications used in our fitness equipment product line. Working under the guidance of the Senior Director of JRNY Development, the QA Engineer is responsible for developing and executing test strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with the product development and software engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets customer expectations and safety requirements. Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded and application-level software in alignment with project specifications. · Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to understand software requirements and intended functionality. · Perform new feature and regression testing of new and existing software features, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. · Track, document, and communicate defects clearly to the development team, using standardized tools and processes. · Review product requirements and design documentation to ensure testability and alignment with quality standards. · Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups. · Assist in the creation and enforcement of quality assurance standards, processes, and best practices across the software development lifecycle. · Ensure compliance with internal software development standards and external regulatory requirements where applicable (e.g., safety, CE, FCC). · Support product launches by performing final QA validation and providing post-release defect support. Requirements Education & Expereince: · Understanding of QA methodologies and best practices · 3+ years of experience in software QA or embedded software testing. · Experience testing mobile applications, embedded systems, IoT devices, or consumer electronics preferred. · Familiarity with QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, Charles Proxy, etc. Benefits: We offer an excellent compensation package and team-oriented work environment with growth opportunities.
